WE ARE ONE

We are miracles in motion. Unfinished poems written by time...

Ray and I recently visited Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and being surrounded by these ancient redwoods, some more than 1,000 years old, felt like a sacred experience.

Standing among them, I was deeply moved by the sense of our eternal connection to the natural world, and to one another. I understood an infinite truth: we are one. We are spirit. We are wonder. We are love.

I created this video from photographs we took during our visit, woven together with my words inspired by my experience in the Redwood Forest. The music and vocals were created with Suno.

We Are One

We are children of the universe,
stardust shaped into human form.
Each of us carrying the same ancient light.
I am my neighbor,
and my neighbor is me.

One human family,
learning how to walk this Earth
and find our way back home.

This life is a sacred journey,
and with every step,
every breath,
every joy, and sorrow,
we are one.

We are miracles in motion.
Unfinished poems written by time.
Works in progress,
shaped by love and loss,
tenderness and pain.

Each of us,
walking on our own sacred path.

And perhaps the way home
is not a place we find,
but a truth we remember,
that rises inside us.

We are stardust.
We are spirit.
We are wonder.
We are love.

We are one.
