TWO ARTISTS WORKING TOGETHER
"Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time." Thomas Merton

Denise returned to her roots in California, in 2002 after twenty years in New York.
In New York she lived and worked in the Hudson Valley, taught art classes at Marist, and for eighteen years, was Director of the Ave Art Center and Gallery.
She received her B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of California, Davis: her M.A. from Purdue University, and her M.F.A. from the University of Illinois.
Her work has been exhibited in Galleries throughout the nation and is in private collections both in the U.S. and Europe.
Ray worked in the hi-tech business until 2002, in the creation of images based on computer graphics. As a photographer he made educational DVD’s of the California Missions. These DVD’s contain a condensed history of the individual Missions, a musical tour and slide show.
Currently he has been working on a series of artistic clocks, transforming cameras and other found objects into functional clocks. His works often involve steampunk ideas, as he merges the old with modern ideas.

Our creative journey is inspired by imagination, passion, and the joy of self-expression. Through our artwork, we explore different ideas, emotions, and perspectives. As artists, we enjoy experimenting with new techniques and styles, always striving to create work that inspires, and connects.

Denise's Journey
Ray Wong creates new, functional clocks, out of broken cameras, and old, discarded items, that others might call "junk".
