When Denise and Ray collaborate, magic happens. This section showcases experimental works that blend painting, photography, design, and found objects into unexpected creations.

All About Ukes

In our home, there is always music and art. It's something truly special when those two passions come together.

Sometimes we take brand-new ukuleles and transform them with paint, creating one-of-a-kind works of art. These instruments not only look beautiful ... they sound wonderful and are a joy to hold and play. When artistry and craftsmanship meet, something magical happens.

Other times, we rescue old ukuleles that can no longer be played and give them a new purpose through art. By upcycling them, we breathe new life into forgotten instruments, turning each one into an original creation. Every art ukulele tells its own story, exploring a unique theme, idea, or world. Creating them is an adventure, and we often work side by side, blending our ideas until they grow into something entirely new.

Organic pigments, layered textures, and natural light interaction form the foundation of our visual narratives, capturing editorial light and tactile media.

Bespoke soundscapes crafted for installations and vinyl pressings, exploring ambient sonic textures and visual tempo in every note.

Using permanent archival pens and ink, Denise hand-creates original artwork on new drums. Her custom designs enhance the beauty of each instrument, turning it into a unique expression of both music and art.

Denise loves to relax by painting furniture and objects with unique designs, colorful paint and fun images.
