Music and art have always gone hand in hand in our home. There's almost always music filling the air—whether it's someone strumming a guitar or ukulele, playing the drums or flute, singing, or creating music videos.
But music isn't limited to instruments. We hear it in the rush of a waterfall, the songs of birds, the rhythmic tapping of a neighbor's hammer, and the joyful laughter of children at play. Everyday sounds often become the inspiration for new melodies.

Ray and I share an endless love of music in all its forms. While we're not professional musicians, creating music is, like our artwork, another way we express our emotions, ideas, and appreciation for the world around us.
It brings us joy, strengthens our connection with each other and others, and helps build a sense of community.

On this page, we'd like to share a few of our musical adventures—simple songs and heartfelt creations made for the love of music.

Art is not something outside of me.
It is the language of my soul,

I’ve been working on the music for this song for quite some time, inspired by a poem I wrote.
With the recent passing of several great artists, I felt I had to make this video. Here are several artists, living and dead, who have influenced me and changed the world with their art.
We all have the ability to find beauty in the ordinary, the possibility in the unfinished, and light in even the smallest fracture.This is for the artists, the dreamers, and anyone who sees a little differently.

For years we participated in a weekly Ukulele Song challenge with a wonderful Ukulele community. It was a fun way to learn new songs and go beyond our comfort level.

This was one of the first songs that Ray and I sang together, thirteen years ago, and it will always have a special place in our hearts.

I made this video 50 days after Ukraine was invaded. I never imagined that four years later the war would still be going on.

I sang this song at my uncles funeral. He loved this song, so it is special for me.

I created this song last year with my drums, and updated it this year as we continue to pray for peace in our world.
