A few thoughts on this Sunday morning
It seems everyday, that our world gets louder..... I think we can do better and remember what we already know, we are one human family, sharing our one fragile world.

We retreat into smaller worlds,
shaped by screens and algorithms,
surrounded by reflections of ourselves,
each echo confirming what we already believe.
But we are more than this.
The danger is not outside the window.
It begins within,
in the quiet voice that whispers,
“You are better than them.”
That voice divides the world into
us and them,
worthy and unworthy,
neighbor and enemy.
But that voice is lying.
There is no us and them.
There is only us:
one human family,
sharing one fragile world.
My neighbor is not other than me.
My neighbor is me.
So let us not make hatred acceptable.
Let us not make cruelty ordinary.
Let us not surrender our hearts to fear.
Let us reach for what is highest in us.
Let us choose the light when darkness is easier.
Let us lift one another,
care for one another,
believe in one another.
For all of us.
For the least of us.
For the future still waiting to begin.
